In line with the Tax Break for All Canadians Act (Bill C-78), there is a temporary GST/ HST break on certain items from December 14, 2024 to February 15, 2025. Refer to FAQs for qualifying shop items.
- Please note that during this period, on-line orders at check-out will still show HST, however this charge will be waived off on the student invoice.
- To qualify for the tax break, all items must be fully paid for before close of day February 15, 2025. We therefore encourage in-store purchases and point of sale payment by Card or Apple Pay or impress upon you to make timely payment once you receive your monthly invoice.
- In line with the regulation, HST will be applied on qualifying purchases that has not been paid for after February 15, 2025.
